Random name generator @ superteachertools - spelling bee

I found this random name generator and imagined it would be great to use in the spelling bee competition. It sure makes selecting words easier. There is a limit of 100 words/names, but we could perhaps create lists of easy or difficult words. It is also great for classroom use, to select students at random.
This is just an image of the application. I could not embed it here correctly. But you can try a version with names of fruits here.

Dustbin @ classtools

This is a simple sorting activity. I used countable, uncountable and both count-noncount nouns to create a list. Students have to drag each noun to the correct bin. Try it.

Well, this is a difficult one to play, but I guess kids will enjoy it. It's created the same way as Wordshoot below.
This one is on numbers. Students have to match the figure to the written number.

Wordshoot @ classtools.net

Easy to create and a lot of fun. I created this one on past participles. I just added some verbs and their participle forms and played. Chech it out.

This is just one of the games offered. If a password is set, students go straight to the page of the game you chose.

Check classtools.net for more options. I'll post the variations to the game soon.

Speed Match Quiz Game

I found Speed Match on superteachertools.com. You simply type the questions and answers and the site does it all for you.

Basically, students have to drag the answers to the question box. There is a timer and a list of best times, which can motivate students to try hard to be the first.

Besides questions and answers, this game can be used for matching activities, such as past tense of irregular verbs, minimal pairs, numbers, passive voice, etc. You can use it for reviewing or practicing, and the best thing is it can be downloaded and used offline.

Here's an example of a game created using Speed Match. Students have to match the similar expressions of quantity.

Try it out, and if you create any game, remember to leave a comment here with the link.
